I became a mom for it, that feeling. You know the one I’m talking about if you’re a mother, it’s the moment your child gets very insistent about needing your love and affection right then and there!

GET BACK IN HERE AND LOVE ME!!!!

It was annoying at first, because I’ve never been needed in this way, but boy do I live for it. My daughter has slept in my bed since the day I brought her home. I’m a firm believer in co-sleeping. As long as she wants me, I want her near me. So there we are, and I wake up to my child taking my face into each of her hands and kissing me. She knows that kisses equal affection. With mom, it’s lippies, with others, she gives Inuit kisses, rubbing noses.

#momlife aint easy, but it’s gratifying.
